Presentation of our Final-Frontiers-Version at ZKM Karlsruhe
On Wednesday, February 29th 2012,16:00-18:00, we will present the final version of Frontiers at ZKM Karlsruhe! New features, fixed bugs and new research material: The updated version of Frontiers will be presented, played and discussed in the ZKM Media Museum, World of Games (2nd floor) before we go online. Our short presentation will be followed by a discussion and gaming session:

Frontiers - Final Edition - Bugfixes & Feature List
In just a couple of days we will release the Final Edition of FRONTIERS.
This is a list of things we improved:
Fixes:
- score system completely fixed
- textures optimized, missing textures fixed (in all maps and ui)
- map boundaries in spain and ceuta fixed
- sound problems in online version fixed
- weapon problems fixed, weapons exchanged in sahara and spain
- refugee endroom teleports fixed
- map change shorter
- NPC animations fixed
- other minor bugs & errors fixed.
New Features:
- penalty rooms implemented
Stay tuned, the release is coming VERY SOON.
As on our last release, we will regulary meet every Friday at 9pm for our Frontiers Playing Sessions.

Frontiers workshop in Leipzig: Feb. 24th and 25th

The EEG is an alternative space for art and artists, creative professionals and people interested in new media and technologies. We are interested in cooperation for projects, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and congresses. We work for theoretical impact from different parts of society as well as for the preservation of our principles, like – open source, sharing and cooperation.

Frontiers Lecture @ Thaliatheater Hamburg
Come and join us for a lecture by Karl Zechenter & Georg Hobmeier, who will introduce the game Frontiers to the interested public. Furthermore they will shed light on its background, development and political implications. FRONTIERS exibhited at DOX, Centre for Contemporary Art Prague
From October 14, 2011 to January 2, 2012, DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague displayed "Frontiers" within the frame of the exhibition "The Lucifer Effect".
